a) Information You Provide Directly

  • Onboarding profile data: life stage, core values, faith preferences, coaching style, music taste, and aspirational identity
  • Goal content: your written goals, commitment statements, and sub-tasks
  • Check-in responses and optional journal notes
  • Profile avatar and other customizations
  • Payment information (processed securely via third-party payment processors — we do not store full card details)
  • Phone number, if you opt in to SMS notifications
  • Communications you send us (support requests, feedback)

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps
  • Device identifiers and usage analytics
  • Cookie and tracking technology data (see Section 7)
  • Audio session playback activity (session type, play duration, download events)

c) Information from Third Parties

  • If you connect a third-party account (e.g., Google Sign-In), we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address as permitted by your settings on that platform

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Personalize your experience, including AI-generated audio sessions and goal recommendations
  • Send daily motivation emails and check-in reminders
  • Deliver SMS notifications if you have opted in
  • Track your streaks, milestones, and progress over time
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Improve the Service, diagnose technical issues, and conduct internal analytics
  • Communicate with you about product updates, new features, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. AI-Generated Audio Sessions

Code the Mind generates personalized audio content using AI based on the profile data you provide during onboarding, including your goals, values, coaching style, faith preferences, and music taste. This data is used solely to personalize your experience within the Service. Your profile data and the resulting audio content are not shared with or sold to third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

Audio sessions are generated via third-party AI voice synthesis services. Data passed to these services is governed by their respective privacy policies, and we select partners who adhere to appropriate data protection standards.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service, including cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing, AI voice synthesis, and analytics. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Code the Mind, our users, or others.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal data.

With Your Consent: We may share your data for other purposes with your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at Support@codethemind.com. Upon deletion request, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as billing records).

Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant advertising on third-party platforms (Free tier only). Gold subscribers receive an ad-free experience.

You may disable cookies via your browser settings, though some features of the Service may not function correctly as a result.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and may contain links to third-party websites. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Key third-party services we use may include (but are not limited to): Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), ElevenLabs (AI voice synthesis), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS delivery), and OneSignal (push notifications). We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through our platform.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 11. International Users

Code the Mind is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer and processing.
